Our Business Model
SteadyPips provides free Expert Advisors (EAs) and trading education. We earn revenue through our Introducing Broker (IB) partnership with XM.
How It Works
When you open an XM trading account through our affiliate links, XM pays us a commission based on your trading activity. This is how we fund:
- Development and maintenance of our free EAs
- Daily market analysis and educational content
- Website hosting and infrastructure
- Telegram signal service
Important Points
- No cost to you: Our commission comes from XM, not from you. You pay the same spreads and fees as any other XM client.
- No influence on content: Our affiliate relationship does not influence our market analysis, educational content, or trading signals. We strive to provide accurate, unbiased information.
- Transparency: We clearly mark affiliate links throughout the site. Any link to XM is an affiliate link.
- Free EAs: Our EAs require an XM account registered through our system. This is how we verify the IB relationship and keep the EAs free.
The Incentive This Creates
Stated plainly: we are paid when readers open XM accounts and trade. That gives us a financial reason to encourage account opening and trading activity, and you should read our broker coverage and EA recommendations with that in mind. We do not accept payment for a specific verdict in a review, and the commission does not change what a backtest or a market data feed shows — but the incentive exists, and we would rather name it than have you find it. Our editorial policy covers this conflict of interest in more depth.
Advertising Revenue
In addition to our XM IB commission, pages on this site may carry third-party display advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no input into our content, and advertisements are not endorsements by us. As with our affiliate links, advertising does not influence our market analysis, educational content, or trading signals.
Advertisements are placed so that they are distinguishable from our editorial content and are not styled to look like site navigation, article text, or download buttons. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out of personalized advertising, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Affiliate Links on This Site
The following types of links on our website are affiliate links:
- Links to open an XM account
- Links to XM’s website or registration page
- “Open Free XM Account” buttons
- Broker recommendation links
Where This Disclosure Appears
- A standing affiliate disclosure appears in the footer of every page on this site.
- Pages and articles that carry affiliate links repeat the disclosure in the page body.
- Outbound affiliate links are marked
rel="nofollow sponsored"so that search engines can identify them as compensated links.
You do not have to use our links. XM accounts can be opened directly with the broker; our EAs, however, require an account registered through our system, because that registration is what verifies the IB relationship and funds the free distribution.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
- Providing genuinely useful, free trading tools
- Publishing honest, educational content
- Being transparent about our business model
- Never recommending products solely for commission
